The Wednesday HERALD is one the longest running community weekly newspaper circulating in the Province of Laguna. It is founded in 1981 by Nena Estrellado-Mallari, one of the frontrunners of print media in Laguna.
It is duly registered with the Department of Trade and Industry with Maria Sheryl Ivy M. Asprec as the sole proprietor and publisher at the same time.
The Wednesday HERALD is now on its 42nd year of uninterrupted publication with a weekly circulation of 2,000 copies in the cities of San Pedro, Biñan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, Calamba and San Pablo, the provincial capitol Santa Cruz, Los Baños and other municipalities in the Province of Laguna.
It is a duly accredited newspaper in different regional trial courts in Laguna namely: San Pedro City, Biñan City, Santa Rosa City, Calamba City and San Pablo City.
The Wednesday HERALD is a member of the Philippine Press Institute (PPI), Samahan ng mga Publisista ng Laguna (SPL), Prime Alliance of Publishers, Editors & Reporters of the Phils., (PAPER.Ph) Inc. and Seven Lakes Press Corps (SLPC).
